Former VW Labor Leader’s Sex Partner Guilty!

An ex-Volkswagen labor leader’s former lover has been officially charged for her alleged role in a bribery scandal that has shaken one of the planet’s largest automakers to its core.
The allegations made in the Regional Court of Braunschweig, Germany, are that the 47-year-old, unnamed Brazilian woman got paid 350,000 euros ($460,000 USD) in sham contracts from 2002 to 2005. Though bribes of nearly half a million dollars is nothing to sneeze about, this one charge is merely a single layer of pickled cabbage in a pot full of fermenting corruption that includes prostitutes, luxury goods and vacations given to union leaders in exchange for their votes on various VW policies.
The Brazilian is the former horizontal companion of the former chief worker representative on VW’s supervisory board, Klaus Volkert, who has already been found guilty of accepting 2.6 million euros in benefits. As of the time of this writing, it is not known if Volkert has learned how fruitful the exchange of sexual services for power can also be in a correctional setting.
