Lotus Exige S Roadster, Good News, Bad News

There is good news, and there is bad news regarding the anxiously-anticipated Lotus Exige S Roadster.

First, the good news: Lotus’s fastest convertible of all time is to hit showroom floors very soon. And, it is sure to create great fanfare being powered by a supercharged 3.5L V6 that will pump out something around 345 horsepower and 295 pounds-per-foot of torque. This type of power impresses on the road giving the Exige S a top speed of 145 mph and the ability to reach 60 mph in fewer than four seconds.

And, now the bad news: it won’t be on sale in America. Once again, Lotus has decided to only paint speed-induced smiles in Europe and Asia.
